The Tungsten Gas Heat Deflector reduces the clearance required between the top of the heater & the surface above by absorbing or redirecting heat which would normally rise to the above surface vertically. With dual-layer construction from stainless steel it has been designed to last and provide 2 layers of heat absorption.
