The BBQ is designed in 430 grade stainless steel. The stainless steel BBQ and hood are great value with an expected body life of many years but is not recommended for coastal conditions.
The BBQ is safer to use due to being insulated in our stainless steel cabinet which surrounds the sides and rear of the BBQ body offering a twin skin which reduces external temperatures you may touch.
Two stainless steel doors and two stainless steel folding side shelves complete the unit. Four stainless steel castors make the trolley easy to move without the need to lift the barbecue. A gas cylinder can be hung right under the right hand side shelf on the bottle hook or store inside the cabinet.
GT Range Features
All Tucker barbecues are fully tested and approved to Australian standards and are able to be used on either natural or propane gas.
Exclusively designed for the GT BBQ, the GT Stainless Plate and Grill now come standard in all GT models making this range full stainless for 2018 and beyond. Our GT range of barbecues use 304 grade high quality stainless burners. These stainless steel burners have replaced the heavy cast iron gas guzzlers of old and are powerful yet efficient burners using 20% less gas than our previous models.
The gas valves chosen for the GT range are tried and tested for harsh conditions. Solid alloy ergonomic control knobs make it simple to operate and coupled with our zinc plated solid steel manifold will give you years of trouble free cooking.
Individual piezo ignitions have been fitted directly next to each burner so as to guarantee lighting every time, even in wind or rain. Our solid stainless steel cassette style grease tray requires no fat absorbent or sand to soak up fat and can be rinsed out in the sink to clean with no fuss after each BBQ.
Tuckers ceramic tiles are made from high temperature ceramics which can absorb and transfer heat with greater efficiency than rock or metal baffles. The holes in the ceramics help intensify the heat and at the same time allow the juices to flow through them creating the perfect char-grill. They have been designed flat so they can be rotated at intervals allowing the burners to self clean the tiles effortlessly.
The GT roasting hood has inbuilt easy-to-read temperature gauge for accurate cooking times and a rear cooking shelf allows for extra capacity. A roasting rack and baking pan are also included so you have everything you will need to make delicious roast meals.
Unlike other manufacturers if you select Natural Gas, we will supply your unit already converted to Natural Gas ready for plug and play (Most just send a Natural Gas Kit which requires an authorised person to change over the jets).
